TEENGIRL FANTASY
Currently students at Oberlin College, Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi clicked over a shared love of classic house and techno records that prompted them to make “some kind of dance music that wasn’t just emulating what we were hearing”. The duo’s music often forms out of melodies, samples or concepts that through jamming and improvisation organically materialize into full-fledged compositions. Their debut full length LP was released this past September on True Panther Sounds. This past year they have recently toured with Delorean and shared bills with Holy Fuck, Panda Bear, and Chrome Hoof.
PICTUREPLANE
Having cut his teeth on raging tours with HEALTH, a collab with Beirut's Zach Condon and killer remixes for Crystal Castles, HEALTH, and Thieves Like Us, Pictureplane delivered his first full-length for Lovepump, Dark Rift in August 2009. Since then he's toured with Washed Out and Small Black, and is touring with Sleigh Bells this fall. He will release his follow up to Dark Rift in the spring of 2011.
